Kids Do Rock

The band Disciples of Rock jammed in Hop Porter Park in Hailey on Sunday as part of the Croy Run and Concert, which benefited Rotarun Ski Area. The band has been together for three years, and the 9- to 12-year-old, Hailey-based bandmembers are, from left, Champe Kotara, Caleb Garvin, Lucas Garvin and Hayden Thayer. They were accompanied by the elusive white rabbit, Cutter Grathwohl. Sarah Busdon, director of development and marketing for Rotarun, reported that $14,000 was raised after expenses, to help fund snowmaking, ski-lift installation and lodge renovation. “It was a great event and the people who turned out supported a wonderful cause, which is affordable skiing,” Busdon said.
