Marshal investigates property damage

The Bellevue Marshal's Office received two unrelated complaints of property damage on Sunday.

In one incident, a man allegedly kicked the door on a friend's car but the victim decided he didn't want to pursue charges and said "they'd settle it themselves," said Bellevue Marshal Ron Taylor.

The other incident involved a slashed tire at Sun Valley Garden Center.

"A guy came to work and parked his car there and came back and somebody had slashed his tire," Taylor said. "He said he didn't know of anybody that was mad at him so we're not sure why it happened."

That incident remains under investigation.
