Why I got involved

People have asked me why I have gotten involved on behalf of Randy Hall to defeat the recall effort. Simple: I love Ketchum. My wife and I now live full time in Warm Springs. Before that, we owned a second home in Warm Springs for many years, and before that, we were both regular visitors to Ketchum since the early '60s.

I want to see Ketchum have a bright, prosperous, successful future. It literally pains me to see the many vacant store fronts. The last straw was when I saw the Images of Nature Gallery on Main Street shut down. I think that store has the largest glass display window in Ketchum. Now all that is being displayed is a "For Lease" sign. I decided I had to jump in when I saw that sign.

I am not a politician. I am not an activist. I am a political rookie. I know Randy Hall, but not well. I firmly believe that he is doing everything in his power to get Ketchum past this time of crisis so Ketchum can prosper and succeed in the future.

That is why I got involved.
