Punt, Pass, Kick scheduled

The Pepsi Punt Pass and Kick competition, hosted by Wood River Youth Football, will be held Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at Wood River Middle School.

The location has been changed this year from the Wood River High School football practice field to the north Middle School soccer fields.

Ages 8-15 are invited to compete. Winners from each age group will advance to compete in the sectional competition to be held Sept. 27 for a chance to advance to the national competition in Seattle. Last year Wood River sent two local competitors to Seattle—Kaitana Martinez and Braxton Parish.
