Laura Feldbaum

Our dear Laura passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 27, surrounded by family, at home in Ketchum and at peace.

Laura lived out her lives as daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and professional colleague exquisitely to the end. She fully realized her character and individuality in a way that was and always will be inspirational. Our family is grateful for having shared Laura's 62 years of love, laughter, learning and wisdom, and so thankful to you who gave your caring and powerful support over these four years while she battled brain cancer.

After graduation from Vassar College, Laura was program officer at the Eisenhower Exchange Fellowship in Philadelphia, and was director of the Marshall Memorial Fellowship Program of the German Marshall Fund in Washington, D.C. She served on the board of the Community Library and recently received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; her sister, Susan Klein; her children, Harley and Mia; daughter-in-law Nicole Fraser; and grandchildren, Maddox and Nora.

Memorial services and receptions have been set in for 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, in Washington, D.C., and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, in Ketchum, at the Feldbaums at 330 Mesquite Ln. in Hulen Meadows. For more information, contact mia_feldbaum@yahoo.com
