Lyle Pearson Labor Day Tennis Championship has winners all around

After a two-year hiatus, the Lyle Pearson Labor Day Tennis Championship was back in the Wood River Valley. The tournament took place at the Sun Valley Resort from Saturday, Aug. 30 through Monday, Sept. 1.

There were around 150 competitors at the tournament. Both juniors and adults competed against one another. Competitors played in one of three categories: singles, doubles or mixed doubles

Match format was best two out of three sets with doubles divisions playing a third-set super-tiebreaker (first team to get to 10 points with at least a two-point margin).

Sponsors included Lyle Pearson, Volvo, Tennis Warehouse, Wilson Racquet Sports, Sturtevants and Atkinsons' Market.
