RECENT RESULTS

Waxroom Snappers 2 vs. Coors Light Cyclones 9

Gio Tignoni pitched great with a complete game victory over the Snappers. He had the Snappers fooled all night. He mixed fastballs with a great slider using a generous strike zone to control the batters. He only allowed 2 runs and 7 hits over 9 innings with 7 strikeouts.

It was a close game through 5 innings with TJ Peterson (Snappers) only allowing 3 hits and only 1 earned run and 8 strikeouts . The Cyclones broke it open in the 6th inning off Trent Seamons who allowed 5 runs due to timely hitting and poor defensive play. Dan Freeman (Snappers) came on to pitch the last two frames and allowed only one run to the Cyclones.

Coors Light Cyclones 7 vs. Lefty's River Dogs 8

Last year's league MVP Nic Nottingham pitched 8.1 innings to get the victory over the Cyclones. Pat Patterson came in to strike out the last two batters and record the save. Christian Nickum pitching his first game of the season took the loss for the Cyclones allowing 13 hits, but striking out 10.

Nottingham 2/6, triple
