Resort reunion revisits a simpler time

Another Sun Valley "Old Timers Reunion"

Express photo by Willy Cook.
First organized over 30 years ago by Vicky Graves and Teddie Daley, the Sun Valley Employee “Old Timer’s Reunion” returned Saturday, Aug. 9 to Ketchum’s Rotary Park. About 150 people attended to celebrate a simpler time in the resort’s history, some coming from as far away as Chicago. Those who joined the fun were people who worked for Union Pacific and the Janss Corp. at Sun Valley from the 1940s through the 1980s. Enjoying Saturday’s party are former Sun Valley Drugstore employees, from left, Bobbie Zimmerman, Janice Marana, Vicky Graves, Sharon Parker, Sandy Gilbert, Judy Whitehead, Chris Keirn and Teddi Jones (kneeling in front).
