Why not a train?

Reading your article from Pat Murphy about the location of a new airport to replace Friedman Memorial made me wonder why? Why spend so much money for a new airport when you have an underused airport in Twin Falls?

When we travel to Hailey each year we see the great need for mass transportation from Twin Falls to the Sun Valley area. The need for a high-speed train between these areas seems obvious when you consider the gas expense for the hundreds who commute to and from work each day. This train could also be utilized to move visitors and freight from Twin Falls and the airport to the valley. Someone may be interested in analyzing the cost-reward ratio of a train.

I do appreciate Pat Murphy's articles on political analysis. Thanks for the info and good luck with the airport.
