Jeannette Bouiss

Jeannette Bouiss died in Portland, OR on July 5th. She died as gracefully as she lived. She was 85 years young. She was only 'old on the outside', as she would often say, remaining always young at heart. Despite her illness, Jeannette continued to pour out love to her family as they supported her in her last days.

Jeannette was born in Portland and married Pete Bouiss to whom she was inseparable for 63 years until his death in late 2005. She and Pete had lived part time in Hailey since 1987. She had career experience in the dental field from chair side assistant to receptionist/scheduler, but was mostly a homemaker. She continually provided care and support to anyone in need with a genuine selfless attitude. Jeannette is survived by a son, Mike Bouiss, three grandchildren and two great grand children.

Funeral arrangements were performed by Hustad in Portland with a funeral mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church on July 10, 2008.

Those who knew her will miss her dearly.
