A 20-year-old Ketchum woman was treated and released at St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center after a bicycle mishap last Thursday morning on Warm Springs Road.

Ketchum police identified the victim as Donna Pidgeon. The extent of her injuries was not available.

The accident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. near the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Four Seasons Way. Police spokeswoman Kim Rogers said Pidgeon collided with a utility trailer pulled by Stacey Broadie, no age or address available, who was westbound on Warm Springs Road.

"She was just being very careless and riding without her hands and totally lost control," Rogers said. "She's a lucky girl."

Rogers said Broadie, driving a silver 1996 Ford F250 pickup, successfully swerved to avoid the collision but Pidgeon ran into the trailer.

Rogers said no citations were issued.
