Juvy cell at the new Blaine County Jail

Express photo by David N. Seelig Youngsters check out a juvenile cell in the jail at the new Blaine County Public Safety Building. The kids weren’t booked, but were touring the jail instead as part of Wednesday’s grand opening of the facility. The juvenile cells will allow allegedly offending youngsters to be held up to 72 hours, which will greatly reduce transportation costs to shuttle them back and forth for court hearings from the Snake River Juvenile Detention Center in Twin falls.
