Spa Calendar of Events For the Weekend

There's so much to do in the summer in the Valley of the Wood. Our visitors are hungry to know where to go and what there is to do each day. I'm here to help.

FRIDAY, JULY 25

1st Annual Carts and Rafts Fair, Stanley. Assorted carts (including grocery carts) are on sale with the purpose of transporting your raft to the river. Special this week - Mine trams.

Wood River Foreign Legion Baseball, "A" Doubleheader Tehran Threats vs. Bagdad Bombers. 12:30 p.m. "B" game at 4 p.m. Iceland Ice Shows vs. Albania Mafia.

Game of Life Challenge with Dr. Spa, Ketchum Town Plaza 2 - 4 p.m.

SATURDAY JULY 26

Stranger Guides - Walks and Talks, Walk and talk with a complete stranger in Arco. All day - every day. Park free in the lava fields.

Rhino's Roost BackCountry Skip, 10 blocks and 16.5 blocks skips @ the "You in the Meadows" blacktop road behind the pond 2 p.m.

Thirst Coalition - Free summer drinks program, Adults 21 - 85 in the alley behind The Casino. 10 a.m. to Noon.

SUNDAY JULY 27

Kid's Fry Fishing, at "Up The Creek Outfitters and Grill." 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. New gear from top brands in fry fishing. Meet chefs and BBQ masters.

Scribbling in Watercolor, 1/2 day workshop for the artistic impaired @ The Wood River Center, Ketchum.

Back Alley Dice Tournament, Woodside Blvd. in Hailey. Follow the signs. 7 p.m. - Midnight.
