Guitar god slides at River Run


Derek Trucks played his guitar with a mighty slide at River Run Lodge on Thursday, July 17, at the Sun Valley Center’s first summer concert at River Run. Trucks and his wife Susan Tedeschi, on vocals and electric guitar, formed the Soul Stew Revival, which is touring the country for the first time this summer. The band also includes Trucks’ brother, Duane, on drums. Trucks is a member of the legendary Allman Brothers Band and also tours with his own Derek Trucks Band. Tedeschi is a four-time Grammy nominated singer, guitarist and songwriter. Express photo by David N. Seelig
