Wicked Spud/Bradley Const. 27, TLC Seeds of Hope 1 (5 innings)

Spud scored 6-7-3-11 runs in its at-bats. Spud: Jimmy Bradley 2 hits (double) and 3 runs, Tina Murphy 3 hits (double, HT) and 3 runs, Huston Brashears double and 4 runs, Steve HR, double and 3 runs, Anthony triple and 2 runs.

Smith Sport Optics 13, The Life Church 11

Life Church started well with a 6-run second for a 9-5 lead, but managed only 2 runs in its final five at-bats. Smith, meanwhile, saved its hitting for the end of the game. The winners scored 3 runs in the sixth on hits by Mike Beall (2 hits, 2 runs), LeighAndra Roberts (2 hits), Jeff Poggi (2 hits, 2 runs), Bobbi Edwards and Ryan Wilson (2 hits, double). Then Smith tacked on 3 runs in the seventh on a 2-run triple by Beall and RBI single by Roberts. Smith: Lukus Sisiam 3 hits, T.J. Peterson 3 hits (HR) and 2 runs. Life Church: Chad Schiemeier 2 hits (triple, HT) and 2 runs, Lindsay Boender 2 runs.

Power Engineers 22, The Life Church 16

The engineers turned up the juice from the early going, grabbing a 9-3 lead after two stanzas. Life Church stormed back with a 5-run sixth cutting its deficit to 14-11, but Power exploded for 8 runs in the home sixth and surged ahead 22-11. Life Church made it a little closer with 5 runs in the top of the seventh. Power: Aaron Tremayne 2 hits and 4 runs, Jason Marenda 3 hits (double) and 2 runs, Tommy Thompson 3 hits (HR) and 3 runs, Ryan 3 hits (triple). Life Church: Chad Schiermeier 3 hits (2 HR, triple) and 2 runs, Tracy Peterson 2 doubles and 3 runs, Lacey Peterson 2 hits and 2 runs, Lynda Martin 3 hits and 2 runs, Beau Boender 3 hits (2 doubles) and 4 runs.

Bishop Builders/Color Haus 20, Hailey Hotel 14

Bishop went up 8-0 after two frames and 20-4 with a 5-run sixth. Hotel made it respectable with 5 runs in the sixth and seventh innings. Bishop: Bryan Burrell 3 hits (2 doubles) and 3 runs, Chris Hoshaw (3 hits, 2 HR, grand slam) and 4 runs, Twyla Bulcher 2 hits and 2 runs, Kenny Nelson double, triple and 2 runs, Chris Benson 4 hits, Jeff Burrell HR. Hailey Hotel: Steve England triple and double, Brad Dredge triple, Kellen Chatterton 2 hits (triple) and 2 runs, Ryan Bronson 3 hits (double), Dave 2 hits and 2 runs, Jonmarie Shaw 2 hits.

Bishop Builders/Color Haus 29, Evans Plumbing 15

Extra hitter Josh Jacobson (4 hits, 2 doubles, 4 runs) ripped a 3-run HR in the first inning and John Rathfon (3 hits, 2 runs, 5 RBI) belted a 3-run HR in the third helping Color Haus to a 13-10 lead. The winners scored in each at-bat capped by an 8-run sixth featuring RBI doubles by Sarah Benson (5 hits, 2 doubles, 5 runs), Jacobson and Kathy Harper (3 hits, 2 runs). Bishop Builders: Kenny Nelson 4 hits (3 doubles, 3 RBI). Evans Plumbing: Steve Hendrix 3 hits (2 doubles) and 3 runs, Nate Adams 4 hits and 4 runs, Sean Perks 5 hits (2 doubles).

Pioneer West/Swaner Welding 8, The Life Church 6

Rich Lang's RBI double in the first sparked Pioneer to a 3-0 lead. Life Church went ahead 6-4 through four frames, capitalizing on 4 Pioneer errors in a 4-run second as Sean Guisasola drilled a two-out, 2-run single. Life Church didn't score its final three at-bats, while Pioneer West tallied 2 runs in the sixth and 2 in the seventh.

Smith Sport Optics 8, Hailey Hotel 5

Sean Harrington (4 hits, 2 doubles, 2 runs) blasted a 2-run HR in the first inning and Smith built its lead by chipping away and scoring 4 times in the 3rd-5th frames. Lukus Sisiam belted a 2-run inside-the-park HR in the fourth for a 7-4 Smith cushion. For Hotel, Kellen Chatterton (2 runs) kept the hopes alive with a solo HR leading off the seventh but Hotel couldn't deliver two runners in scoring position. Smith: Samantha Sisiam 2 runs, T.J. Peterson triple, Kaitlin Linderman 2 runs. Hotel: Hoss Schmidt HR.

Power Engineers 25, TLC Seeds of Hope 4 (6 innings)

Jason Marenda's RBI double ignited Power's 6-run third that stretched the engineers' lead to 10-1, and the winnerse added 9 runs in the sixth. Power: Tommy Thompson 4 hits (2 doubles) and 3 runs. Seeds: Justin 2 doubles, Casey 2 hits (double).
