Attend SNRA Interpretive programs

The Sawtooth National Recreation Area Interpretive programs continue this week at Wood River with "Mountain Goats" from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, at Billie's Bridge. More Wood River programs will take place at the Wood River Amphitheater Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19, with Junior Ranger programs at 2 p.m. and an evening program at 9 p.m. each day.

A nature walk on "Fire Ecology at the Castle Rock Fire" will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the Junior Ranger program, "Fire" at 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 20, at Adam's Gulch Trail Head.

The Redfish Lake Visitor Center will host programs from Thursday, July 17, through Sunday, July 20. Each evening will have a campfire one half hour before the night's program begins.

The Redfish Lake Visitors Center will conduct nature walks at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19. At Stanley Lake, there will be a nature walk at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, as well as an auto tour to the Native American Rock Shelter at 2 p.m.

Junior Ranger programs will take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday, July 18, and 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 19. Junior Ranger programs on Sunday, July 20, will take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Sawtooth Forum and Lecture Series will conduct a campfire talk with Barb Forderhase on "Raptors of Idaho: Biology & Management" on Friday, July 18, at the Redfish Amphitheater at 8:30 p.m.
