Park program holds summer tennis meet

55 kids join the holiday fun

Ketchum's Summer Youth Program staged its annual Singles Classic tournament on Thursday, July 3 on the Atkinson Park courts and also at Sun Valley Tennis Club. Nearly 55 children participated.

Parks & Recreation director Kirk Mason and youth program director John Kearney Jr. said it was a very warm day and fun was had by all. They thanked Sun Valley Tennis Club and its tennis director Mark Frisby for use of their courts.

Here are top results:

Boys A: 1—Raleigh Grossbaum. 2—Stephen Pfeiffer. 3—Josh Morell.

Boys B: 1—Eron Bates. 2—Gus Conrad. 3—Tyler Spence.

Boys C: 1—Brock Mary. 2—Clay Cutler. 3—Spencer Kragerud.

Girls A: 1—Ellie Punnett. 2—Hannah Dies. 3—Riley Kilmartin Schmidt.

Girls B: 1—Megan Murphy. 2—Josie Allison. 3—Stepanie Gaona.
