Physical therapist makes Who's Who
Physical Therapist Kim Mazik, of Hailey is included in the 2008 edition of the "Cambridge Who's Who Honor Edition" complied of men and women of distinction who are influential in their organization or industry.
She is the owner of Hailey Sports & Spine Physical Therapy, and specialized in orthopedic injuries, spinal pain, women's health, jaw and headache pain.
She is a member of the national and Idaho Chapters of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Call for volunteers
The Environmental Resource Center needs volunteers for its Recycling Initiatives at Special Events (RISE). Volunteers can enjoy outdoor entertainment while helping other attendees to properly recycle.
Over the last five years, volunteers have helped reduce waste at special events by 42 percent, which is more than 80,000 pounds of recyclable.

Personal income drops in Idaho
Idaho average personal income declined during the first three months of 2008 from the final three months of 2007, according to a report from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
A press release from the Idaho Department of Labor blamed the decline rising feed prices to livestock operators and sliding housing construction starts.
Personal income, an average of total wages, business owner profits, investment earnings and transfer payments such as Social Security, fell .4 percent in the first quarter of 2008, making Idaho one of only four states to see a personal income declines. Arkansas dropped 1.9 percent, Louisiana .6 percent and Mississippi .3 percent.
Nationally personal income rose 1.1 percent in the first quarter of the year.
Sun Valley a favorite fly-fishing place
The Sun Valley area is listed as one of the top five places for fly-fishing by Lynn O'Rourke Hayes, the editor of FamilyTravel.com.

School board to hold annual meeting
The Blaine County School District Board of Trustees will hold its annual meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8.
Agenda items include election of new chairman and vice chairman and appointment or reappointment of district staff. The board is also scheduled to approve the 2008-2009 school calendar and to adopt a code of ethics for school board members.
The annual meeting will be followed by the regular July board meeting. The district's strategic plan is expected to be approved, as is the curriculum for the upcoming school year.
