Feldman nails 17th Idaho TT victory

State 40k sprint


Durance Cycleworks-Lehman Brothers cyclist Richard Feldman, 39, of Ketchum captured his 17th consecutive Idaho State Time Trial Championship in a 40-kilometer (24.8-mile) record time June 21.

Feldman (49:40) bettered his own 2006 record by nine seconds on the U.S. 20 pavement course south of Bellevue. In all, there were 46 cyclists covering 40k and 20k (12.4-mile) courses. Overall placings follow, with class finish in parentheses:
