Bigwood ready for Father’s Day Scramble

Golfing for families

It might be a decent weekend for a round of golf, and it's definitely a decent weekend for some father-daughter and father-son bonding on the links.

Bigwood Golf Course at Thunder Spring, just north of Ketchum, will stage its annual Father/Child Golf Scramble on Sunday, June 15, kicking off with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on the nine-hole course.

The cost of $50 per person for non-Bigwood members includes golfing, cart and lunch. Season pass holders pay $30, and Zenergy members receive $10 off the public rate.

Call 726-4024 to sign up.

Bigwood will have its Monday scramble on Monday, June 16 with a 5:30 p.m. shotgun start. Be sure to arrive early for check-in. Men play from the black tees and women from the reds, and you must use everybody's drive twice.

Again, the cost is $50 for golf, cart, dinner and the keg, or $30 for season pass holders. Call Bigwood to get on the list.
