Public Forum offered on breast cancer

Ketchum-based Expedition Inspiration Fund for Breast Cancer Research will present, a public forum, "Have You Heard..." at St. Luke's Anderson Center in Boise 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11. The presentation will be co-sponsored by St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute and St. Luke's Breast Care Services.

The forum will take place in the St. Luke's Anderson Center, Ada 2 room.

Featured speakers will include Dr. Angela DeMichele, assistant professor of medicine and epidemiology at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania and Dr. Michael Press, Harold E. Lee chair, professor of pathology at the Keck School of Medicine, Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Southern California.

They will address topics such as hormonal therapy, chemotherapy, and HER2 as a target for therapy.
