An 18-year-old Shoshone woman was transported to St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon about five miles west of Picabo.

The Blaine County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as Misty Russell. She was transported with hip injuries to St. Luke's by Wood River Fire and Rescue ambulance shortly after the collision at about 2:30 p.m.

Sheriff's Lt. Jay Davis said Russell was the passenger in a white 1990 Toyota pickup driven by 21-year-old Amberlee Behr, of Hailey. He said Behr was stopped on Kilpatrick Ridge Road at its intersection with U.S. Highway 20 when the accident occurred. Behr allegedly pulled from the road and was struck by an eastbound red 1990 Toyota 4-Runner driven by Cesar Ruiz-Ramos, 29, of Picabo.

He said Behr was cited for allegedly failing to yield from a stop sign and both drivers were cited for failure to provide proof of insurance.
