Tournament action picks up for All-Star ball teams

Wood River Majors players are Brandon Benson, Cameron Benson, Austin Savaria, Gage Jorgensen, KJ Savaria, Marshall Reyburn, Connor Hall, Finn Isaacson, Anders Fortuin, Gray David, Jake Jorgensen, Kyle Clark. In the back row are coaches Randy Jorgensen, Mike David and Tony Benson.

Wood River All-Star baseball teams in the Majors (ages 11-12) and Minors (9-10) have started tournament play.

Local teams competed in Pocatello May 9-10 at the Rocky Mountain Tournament. Other tournaments on the busy schedule include Meridian Memorial Day tournament, Idaho Falls Rocky Mountain tournament, Meridian Dairy Days tournament, Burley All-Star tournament and the Ray Nelson Invitational in Hailey.

Coaches include Randy Jorgensen, Mike David and Tony Benson for the Majors, and Lars Hovey and James Nelson for the Minors. It should be a good season for the local baseball teams.
