School district supports Prop. 1

At its regular meeting on May 13, the Blaine County School District board of trustees announced its support for the ambulance district funding measure to be voted on by the patrons of Blaine County on May 27.

The Blaine County ambulance service is of the utmost importance in our valley and has saved many lives through competent, efficient and quick response to our residents facing a medical crisis. This measure could literally be the difference between life and death. For a cost of approximately $12 per year on a home valuation of $400,000, this is not only affordable but necessary to ensure our quality of life and ensure that life-saving techniques are not jeopardized.

The board of trustees and administration of the Blaine County School District urge you to vote "yes" on May 27.
