Don’t trash the gulch

Spring has finally arrived in the Wood River Valley and with that the emergence of the ever-present subculture "homo-trashus." Take a walk up the road at Colorado Gulch and you can see their waste. Beer bottles and cans, food wrappers and plastic beverage bottles are everywhere from the river up to the very top.

How do we impress upon these scumbags that our trails are not meant to be their dumping grounds? What ever happened to respect—for others and for our land?
