Reigning national time trial king Richard Feldman of Sun Valley turned on the afterburners and turned out to be the overall champion of last weekend's George's Time Trial Stage Race outside of Boise.
Durance Cycleworks-Lehman Brothers rider Feldman, the Masters 35-44 age class champion at Boise, won his class by nearly five minutes and finished with a time of 45 minutes and 34.823 seconds.
The stage race featured three events—Friday's 1.5-mile climb up Bogus Basin Rd. along with Saturday's 13-mile rolling time trial outside of Boise and the 5-mile out-and-back time trial in which no aerodynamic equipment was allowed.
Feldman (6:59) won Friday's climb by 48 seconds, was a 2:49 winner in the 13-mile TT with a time of 26:39, and added a 17-second victory in the 5-mile TT with a finish of 11:55. He won the overall stage title in addition to his Masters class honor.
Community School junior Max Durtschi of Sun Summit Cycling Club captured the Men's Category 3 group by nearly two minutes with a three-event time of 49:55.476. He won his class in the first two stages with times of 7:31 and 29:31, then was second to Boise's Kai Applequist in the final stage with a 13:10 time.
Friday night, Ketchum's Bill Nurge (7:30) finished just 10 seconds behind Men's 45-54 overall winner Michael Tobin (7:20) of George's/Boise in the Bogus Hill Climb. Community School graduate Tobin won his 45-54 stage race class in 50:57.
Also, Sun Summit Junior Men's rider Davis Hague finished two of the three stages—placing fourth (9:25) Friday in the hill climb and fourth (15:28) in the time trial finale.

Men's Category 3: 3—Matt Fethke of Boise (SV Road & Dirt) 51:46.30. 6—Joe Kafka of Boise (SV Road & Dirt) 53:05.17.
Men's 4/5: 9—Taylor Benz (Sun Summit) 58:07.86. 14—Mark Estrebillo (Sun Summit) 1.01:57.62.
