Pledge is boon for seniors

I am writing this on behalf of the Blaine Manor Auxiliary to thank Harry Rinker for his generous pledge to the Croy Canyon Ranch Foundation.

It has been a great concern to our group that this project might fail, leaving the current and future residents in Blaine Manor without an option to stay in our valley.

By this commitment we feel that this will be the beginning of further pledges and that the Croy Canyon Ranch Foundation will be on their way to breaking ground.

Who was it that said, "You can judge a society by the way it treats their elders and their animals?" We all know animals are treasured here, and now thanks to Mr. Rinker, our elders in need of care will know that they too are treasured.

A heartfelt thanks, Mr. Rinker. You have our gratitude.

Patricia Williams

Blaine Manor Auxiliary president
