After a snow-filled winter, skiers and snowboarders will have plenty to celebrate during a street party marking the end of the season.

On Saturday and Sunday, April 19 and 20, the cities of Sun Valley and Ketchum, along with Sun Valley Co. and Apple's Bar & Grill, will host a party at the base of the mountain in Warm Springs.

After weather conditions allowed the lifts to run nearly two weeks longer than the previous season, Bald Mountain will close Sunday, April 20, while Seattle Ridge and the Baldy bowls, as well as all of Dollar Mountain, closed on Sunday, April 13.

With the street in front of Apple's closed to traffic, the Last Tracks Bash street party will kick off on Saturday with sumo wrestling contests and raffles beginning at 2 p.m. Those will be followed by a live performance by the Cosmic Beans from 3 p.m. until sunset.

As well, there will be a bouncy castle for children set up near the restaurant.

Sunday will feature more live music, this time with the 812 Band playing from 2-5 p.m. at the Warm Springs Lodge.

Members of the Environmental Resource Center will be on hand to celebrate Earth Day with a Climate Costume Contest, with prize categories including Coolest Climate Change Costume, Raddest Recyled Rags, and Most Eccentric Environmental Ensemble.
