John William Brown


John William Brown passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Mountain View Care Center in Kimberly, Idaho, where he had been residing.

John was born on May 13, 1950, in Hailey as a fifth-generation Blaine County resident to John L. and Mavis (Myers) Brown of Bellevue. He attended grade school and high school locally. He spent most of his years living on the family farm on Glendale Road. John always enjoyed attending church services and visiting with church members.

He is survived by his brothers, Dan (Kay) Brown of Bellevue and Nick Brown of Boise; his aunts, Joan Sluder and Ora Lee Disbennett; his uncle, Otis Disbennett; his nieces, Marcy and Aly Brown; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, John and Ollie Brown and William J. and Maude Myers.

A graveside service was held on April 3 under the direction of Wood River Chapel, with Les Cameron as speaker. The family suggests memorials be made to Aspen Grove Hospice, 300 Second Ave. E., Twin Falls, ID 83301.
