Hail good deed

At last Saturday's wonderful BodyVox dance performance, I discovered that my favorite necklace had fallen off sometime between home and intermission. I was very distressed, thinking about the crowded auditorium, the darkness outside, the streets I had crossed and all the other ways it could be gone forever.

But when I asked the Sun Valley Center for the Arts staff if someone had by any chance turned it in, they opened their cash box to reveal not one but two lost necklaces. I was thrilled.

In these times when there is so much media coverage of the negative things people do, I would like to publicly thank one local fifth-grader, Riley Boice, who did a good thing for a total stranger.
