Storey shines up the silver medals

At Disabled Nationals

Ketchum's Elitsa Storey, 20, Tuesday's downhill silver medalist in Standing Skiers Female, captured another silver medal in super giant slalom Wednesday on day two of the 2008 Hartford U.S. Disabled Alpine Championships.

Race chairman Ken Corrock said, "We had great weather for the speed events and a terrific field of all of the best disabled alpine skiers in the country. Local Elitsa Storey did quite well, finishing second in her class for all three events (including the Nor-Am DH)."

Soldier will host the giant slalom and slalom events today, Friday, and Saturday, March 8.
