The Ski Tour, now known as 48 Straight/Jeep King of The Mountain, will step towards zero emission and zero waste as it offers a three-part series of lectures jointly hosted with the Community Library.

The Green Your Scene Environmental Symposium will be held Tuesday, March 11, through Thursday, March 13, at 6 p.m. It's the opening program of the weekend-long 48 Straight in Ketchum and Sun Valley.

The symposium will include presentations from nationally known speakers such as Nancy Taylor, Rocky Anderson, Maeve Boeve and Auden Schendler, as well as musician Michael Franti from Spearhead, who also will perform during 48 Straight.

Sun Valley native environmental consultant Aimée Christensen will moderate each of the programs.

The talks will be held the first two nights at the Community Library and on Thursday at the Presbyterian Church of the Big Wood.
