Dollar GS brings out telemark skiers

For Sunday?s race


Twenty-eight telemark skiers enjoyed Sunday's Dollar Mountain best-of-two-runs giant slalom, part of the 2008 Sun Valley Telemark Series.

Organizer Danny Walton said, "Everybody had a great time—sunny skies, an awesome course and great local support as always."

National telemark team member Joel Nylander of Salt Lake City clocked the best men's time, 46.67 seconds, while Jen King led the Women's Telemark Elite, 50.97.

The final event in the 28th annual Sun Valley Telemark Series season is Saturday, April 5. That's the Hawaiian Nationals, Dual GS, Tandem Telemark Challenge, Tele Parade and Rail Jam on Baldy.
