Thanks for the rescue

I want to thank all the wonderful people who rescued my family during the winter storm Feb. 7. We had no idea the storm was that bad when we started on Gannett Road from Bellevue. We ended up stuck in the road and prepared to spend a few hours waiting to be rescued. It had only been a few minutes when the most amazing man came down the road with an extremely large bulldozer and plowed a one-lane path, with many vehicles (which he had helped get unstuck) following behind like ducklings. Thanks to the many men willing to push and lend a hand, we managed to make our way home.

I kept thinking how amazing people can be when someone is in need. These men (those who pushed and the bulldozer driver) did not have to stop and help. They not only helped but everyone seemed to be happy to help. Thank you so much for all you did for my family.
