2008 Boulder Mountain Ski Tour Results

February 2, 2008, the 33rd annual 32-kilometer (19.8-mile) cross-country ski tour. The course was the historical trail starting at Senate Creek near Galena Lodge Touring Center 23 miles north of Ketchum and ending at the Sawtooth National Recreation Area headquarters 8 miles north of Ketchum. Title sponsor was Wells Fargo. Of the 722 racers who finished the course—96 fewer than last year—452 were male and 270 female. Senior racers were Charley French, 81, of Ketchum and Ruth Grubisic, 72, of Rossland, B.C., Canada. Youngest racer was Cirque Gammelin, 10, of Alta, Wyo. Of the 722 finishers, 168 or 23% of the total field listed Wood River Valley addresses, meaning 77% came from out of the valley.
