Be heard, Democrats

The Democratic Party Caucus in Blaine County, scheduled for "Mega Super Tuesday," Feb. 5, at the Community Campus in Hailey, is expected to have a record turnout of over 500 people. Plan to be there by 6:30 p.m. to vote your presidential candidate choice. The doors will close at 7 p.m. sharp and the caucus will begin. Do not miss this opportunity to join with millions of Americans across the country who will pledge their vote to a Democratic candidate. This vote will count for your candidate's total number of delegates to the Democratic state and national conventions.

As we near the end of an eight-year nightmare under the Bush/Cheney administration, we urge all eligible voters to attend the caucus, stand and be counted as concerned Americans. We also encourage our young people to attend. If you are a teen turning 18 by next November's election, you are eligible to vote and participate. Join me at the caucus. I look forward to seeing you there.

Blaine County Democratic chairwoman
