In reply to your story on the school expulsion policy—Where are the parents? When did it become the school system's responsibility to police our children?
I always thought school was for educating our youth. Perhaps, if the parents were more involved in the first place they wouldn't be spending so much time protesting in the cold. Maybe Dana Barbee should concentrate on the parents and how they should deal with their children before the school deals the last straw and expels them.
And I do believe that if you screw up long enough in the Army, Mr. Greenfield, you either go to the brig or receive a dishonorable discharge. I believe the Army tolerates way less than our school system. Where are the parents? Standing in the cold every Monday morning.
