Thanks to Andrea Minnick?s taking over ownership of the valley?s gymnastics program, the Wood River Gymnastics Academy, based in Hailey, has resurrected a competitive program?and three girls traveled to a Twin Falls meet Jan. 5. Sarah Runkel, 11, Alma Stosius, 13, and Jennie Williams, 13, competed in Level 4 competition at the 2008 Icebreaker Invitational hosted by Magic Valley Gymnastics. Stosius placed first in all-around with first-place scores in vault (9.60), beam (9.10) and floor (8.75) and was second in bars (8.70). Runkel was fourth in all-around and Williams sixth.
