Winter Fashions

The fab and the faux pas

1. Long funky jackets over jeans with black boots are a winter-in-the-mountains fashion-do stalwart.

2. Guy in car with crazy hat is all right with us. His smile and friendly attitude make this the look of the day. Major mountain-town do.

3. She swears spikey heels work great on the ice. We swear from experience that this is patently ridiculous.

4. Red jacket and red hat? Thinking a little contrast might be better for this look.

5. We're not lumberjacks here, which means great, shapely jackets like this Etc. model is fantastic.

6. Coming from the gym? Okay, but hopefully there'll be a change a-comin'.
