Rotarun to open on Monday

The Rotarun ski area, located west of Hailey in Croy Canyon, will kick off the season by opening on Monday, Dec. 24, with Art Richards Appreciation Day in which everyone gets to ski for free.

Rotarun will be open on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 12 to 4 p.m. on Christmas Day.

From Dec. 26 through Jan. 8, the hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Starting Jan. 9, 2008, the regular season schedule will start with night skiing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays and day skiing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
