Treats for Troops needs donations

A worthwhile organization I only recently became aware, of, and have happily contributed to here, is Treats for Troops, which is seeking donations—both monetary and material—throughout the year.

A 501c3 non-profit group geared toward providing items requested by soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, its current wish list includes baby and foot powders, men's and women's deodorants, socks, T-shirts, hand and foot warmers, sunblock, lip balms, books, DVD and VHS movies, CDs, board games and playing cards, microwavable drinks and snacks, seasonings and spices, blank/all-occasion greeting cards and Band-Aids, as well as volunteers to help staff its Bellevue office and collect items donated by others in the valley. Contact Lynn at 578-3424 or 788-4560 for more information.

I know there are a lot of great groups vying for attention and donations here, but it's very hard to talk with Lynn (and her parents) and not want to help her in some way with this extremely enterprising endeavor.
