Change is coming to Hailey-based advertising design company T-Graphics, which has been in business in the Wood River Valley since Tinka Raymond opened the doors in the early 1980s.
Having decided last spring that the time was right to retire and begin traveling, Raymond began considering who should take over the reins.
She finally settled on Jeff Farrell, who began a working relationship with T-Graphics back in 1994 while he was creative director for Ameristar Casinos based in Twin Falls.
Farrell said the company is the type of resource more often found in larger metropolitan markets such as Salt Lake City or Seattle.
"I remember thinking what an incredible discovery this was when I first toured the shop and met everyone. And to find them right here in central Idaho was amazing," he said.
Farrell said the company's close relationship with Express Printing in Hailey is an advantageous arrangement allowing for the production of complex projects such as annual reports, sales kits and invitations.
Throughout his time at Ameristar, later at Harrah's and most recently with Outpost Productions, a design and commercial photography studio he and his wife, Carolyn, operate in Carson City, Nev., Farrell used T-Graphics as his exclusive resource for marketing design.
Putting Farrell in charge at T-Graphics was a natural decision, Raymond said.
"His business and artistic expertise, familiarity with the shop and its longtime staff and obsessive attention to detail are the ideal formula for continued success," she said.
Farrell said they will be blending Outpost Productions into the T Graphics operation and will be adding their own clients to the T Graphics' established client list. He said Outpost Productions will become the photography division under the merger.
