?Souper? group hits milestone

December marks the 10th anniversary of the Souper Supper Dining Room. It was conceived by a group of multi-faith women who wanted to provide hot meals for those who need them. Over the years, Souper Supper has provided more than 30,000 meals to anyone who came to St. Charles Catholic Church parish hall in Hailey on Mondays or Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.

The Steering Committee is proud to announce that Souper Supper now has its own 501(c)(3) status and plans to continue its service to the community for many more years. Anyone wishing to make a tax-deductible donation may do so by sending a check to Souper Supper Dining Room, Inc, P.O. Box 4197, Ketchum, ID 83340.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the generosity of St. Charles Catholic Church, innovative fund-raising by the Turkey Trot sponsors, the faithfulness of many businesses and private donors. The biggest thank you for all these years of service must go to the many women, men and young people who have made up our crews of "Head Soupers" and helpers. We couldn't have done it without you.
