Hailey Yoga Center?s Cathie Caccia strikes a pose.

The Hailey Yoga Center will hold an open house on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at its new location in Alturas Plaza. To celebrate the center's new space and expanded schedule, there will be free yoga classes and refreshments. Classes will include an all-levels class with Ryan Redman from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., an all-levels class with center owner Cathie Caccia from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., and a gentle/restorative class with Mari Wania from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

"We expanded the schedule with earlier classes, extra services and more workshops," Caccia said. "I now have an office, and we are going to have a small store."

Nestled between The Mint and Atkinsons' Market, at 91 E. Croy St., Suite B, the Hailey Yoga Center will offer an expanded schedule with classes seven days a week. The center will continue to feature guest instructors as well as hosting Kirtans—call-and-response chanting—whenever possible.

In addition, the center will offer acupuncture and massage with acupuncturist Dana Henry and massage therapists Melanie Davis and Julie Schrader.

"In the old space there was no potential for growth and added services," Caccia said. "Now we are smack in the middle of a commercial zone and have treatment rooms."
