Ski Skates contest and blog opens

The Sun Valley-Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Bureau announced it is running a Friedlpfeifer Skistakes to tie in to its new campaign, which focuses on a younger attitude. The campaign invokes the spirit of skiing legend Friedl Pfeifer, who insisted the lifts go all the way to the top of Bald Mountain—something that had never been done before anywhere in the world. Seven decades later, this go-higher spirit continues to inspire everyone who comes to the Sun Valley. Friedlpfeifer is about taking life to a new level.

A Friedlpfeiffer blog page has been created on the CVB's website (www.visitsunvalley.com/blog) that encourages photos and stories and offers an opportunity to enter the SkiStakes promotion running this winter.

All entries will be entered into the SkiStakes with the opportunity to win a four-night stay with Resort Quest Sun Valley, four-day lift pass for two provided by Sun Valley Resort, Scott goggles, two all access music passes to the Jeep King of the Mountain Ski Tour finale held in Sun Valley in March, and $150 in Chamber Choice gift certificates.

For more information on this program, or get involved, contact Carrie Westergard, CVB Marketing Director at 725-2110.
