In loving memory of Abby

Tuesday night my husband and I found ourselves sitting on the side of the road bewildered, hurt, disappointed. We had taken away a life that meant the world to someone. A beautiful black dog named Abby. That night a moment changed in the world. No longer will the world hear her wonderful bark, nor will she ever warm the bedside of her family. But I have no doubt that she will visit them in their dreams and watch over her family from heaven.

Death is a tragedy no matter whether it happens to a person or an animal. I will never forget Abby. I wish that I could erase that moment and bring her back, but all I can do is give the family of this wonderful animal our blessings and our sincere apologies for their loss. Please, please stay safe on the road. We were driving under the speed limit and tried to hit the brakes and swerve, but it was too late.

Please help prevent the loss of other wonderful lives by driving cautiously at all times. No animal or human is more important and all of their deaths are equally great losses. May the remembrance of Abby fill our hearts with love and warmth, for she was a sweet soul that now watches from above. May you rest in peace dear sweet Abby.
