The voting isn?t over

I'd like to thank all the people who voted for me in the past Nov. 6 Hailey City Council election. It was a pleasure and an honor to have participated in the campaign and when I think back on it, I cannot think of one negative moment during the entire process.

To the Hailey city staff, thank you for all your help guiding me through it. Thanks to Jon Duval and Kelly Jackson for excellent journalism and to all the candidates for a positive campaign—if only national campaigns could use us as an example on how it should be done. Now it is time to move on with the next step and to remind everyone it is not over. We still have a run-off race for the empty council seat. On Tuesday, Dec. 4, I'll be voting for Fritz Haemmerle and I urge all to vote for Fritz also. It is time we move forward in our future with rational and progressive thinking—there is more to the job than protecting a small corner of Old Hailey. Please get out and vote.
