Shooting suspect Deborah A. Reimer removed her ankle monitoring bracelet Tuesday morning and is on the loose, the Ketchum Police Department reported.

"At approximately 10 a.m. on Nov. 6, 2007, Deborah A. Reimer's ankle bracelet indicated tampering and battery removal," a police news release states. "Violating the terms of her bond agreement, Judge Barry Wood issued a $1,000,000 warrant for her arrest."

A second news release added: "It is believed that Reimer removed the tracking ankle bracelet while in Twin Falls. ... She should be considered armed and dangerous, and she has previous knowledge of firearms."

Ketchum resident Bob Dreyer, the man whom Reimer allegedly fired two shots at in July, told the Idaho Mountain Express Tuesday afternoon that he was notified at about 10:30 a.m. that Reimer "had cut her bracelet off and is at large."

"I've got to make myself safe," Dreyer said. "She's a dangerous person. The bail should never have been reduced."

Reimer was arrested on July 18 after she allegedly fired two shots at Dreyer, her former boyfriend, at his home at Glade Court in southern Ketchum.

Her bond, initially set at $500,000, was reduced to $50,000 by 5th District Court Judge Barry Wood at a hearing on Oct. 2. Reimer told the court that she would be staying with a friend in Gooding.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Ketchum Police Department at (208) 726-7833.
