Blair Boand deserves another term on the Sun Valley City Council. Blair brings to the council many years of community service, including a four-year term on the Planning and Zoning commission and two years on the chamber board. During his time on the council, he has been a council representative on the KART board, rising to vice-chair; and that entity is now looking at the broader scope of regional transportation. He was heavily involved in the Comprehensive Plan Update Committee, which drafted a 160-point, prioritized guide map for Sun Valley's future; and he deserves to be on the council when the ordinances for that plan are created. Blair is a proponent of affordable housing and regional cooperation and is deeply concerned with environmental issues. He has worked to get city vehicles, KART, school buses, and snow plows to run on biodiesel. As second-home owners, we have found Blair to be approachable and attentive to our concerns. In short, Blair Boand should be re-elected.
