No carcass left behind, please

I'd like to start out by saying that I have a freezer full of game to attest to the fact that I am not anti-hunting.

I am, however, disappointed in the minority of deer and elk hunters who improperly dispose of the carcasses of their kills by tossing them alongside the various canyon roads around the valley. Apparently, I'm not alone in this frustration, based on the number of calls of support I've received from like-minded friends and strangers when I've made this request in the past.

Improperly disposed of carcasses cause misery and illness to dozens of dogs each year and unnecessary vet bills for their owners. Please consider that dog owners like me avoid trails in popular hunting areas and are forced to the canyon roads to remain visible to hunters while we walk our furry friends. I feel I'm being safe and respectful in doing this and ask only that hunters return the favor and leave our roads clean.
